Byrne Wallace Shields LLP appoints new construction law partner

Byrne Wallace Shields LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin Harnett has joined as partner in the firm’s construction law practice. 

Kevin has 20 years’ experience advising on all aspects of construction law, encompassing both transactional and contentious matters, and is widely regarded as a leading lawyer in the construction sector. He acts for various stakeholders, including public bodies, developers, main contractors, funders, owners, tenants, insolvency practitioners, specialist sub-contractors, sureties and materials suppliers. 

Kevin advises a range of domestic and international clients in high value and complex construction cases in alternative dispute resolution processes, including conciliation, mediation, adjudication, expert determination and arbitration, as well as before the superior courts. 

Recognised as one of Ireland’s top 100 lawyers, and specifically one of the top 10 lawyers advising on construction and energy , Kevin previously headed up the construction practice of another Dublin law firm, and also practised for a number of years with an international law firm.
